Weekend in New Orleans

Jason, Emery and I went to New Orleans last weekend to take Emery to the zoo and aquarium. We did make it to the zoo, but with all the kids there on school field trips, we never got a chance to go to the aquarium or insectarium. But, we did have a good time hanging out in New Orleans for a couple of days.

Saturday, we went to Jordan and Ty's birthday party! Emery had such a good time playing with them! She was SO tired when we left...she fell asleep in 5 minutes and slept the whole way home!

The baby monkey.....he was our favorite! The "daddy"monkey was chewing a piece of gum. He kept pulling it out of his mouth and popping bubbles.

The "mom" monkey would come close to the people in the crowd and hold out her hand for us to give her something....guess she wanted a piece of gum too!!

The birthday party was so much fun. Jordan had a Princess and the Frog cake. It was SO cute!!
