July 15, 2011.... We took Emery and Neely to New Orleans this weekend. We went to the Aquarium and Insectarium. Even though it rained almost the whole time we were there, we had fun, and Neely did really well on her first mini-vacation!
Em eating beignets for breakfast at Cafe Du Monde! She didn't really care for the beignets....she just licked the powdered sugar off and then gave them to us! Gross :)
Neely was getting a little cranky at this point. She doesn't like to sit...she wanted to stroll!

Jason and Emery ate a BUG at the Insectarium. Emery only did it because the guy there promised her a hand stamp that said, "I ate a bug." She said it wasn't very good! Neely and I passed on the cinnamon bug crunch!
