June 13, 2009.....Jason and I ran in our first half marathon on Saturday. Around mile 10, I told him that I thought I would just sit down and let someone come pick me up. :-)
We managed to finish the 13.1 miles and everyone was at the finish line cheering for us!! We appreciate all of you coming to support us.....THANKS and we love you all!!!
Emery rode with Poppy and Grissy to the race. Grissy had to spend the night at our house so she would be there when Emery woke up. Jason and I had to be at the race at 5:30 a.m.
The finish line is in sight!!! Thank goodness!
Emery didn't want to sit too close to us. She said we were "too sweaty."

Grissom family (minus Emery)...she was much more interested in what Baby Ri was doing.

That is so awesome!!!! Great job but try not to get too sweaty next time so your child will like you after! :)
