Mardi Gras

We went to Fairhope this past weekend to take Emery to the Mardi Gras parades. We went to a "dog parade" Saturday morning and another parade that night. She had so much fun. By Saturday night, she was waving her hands and yelling, " GIVE ME SOME." She got beads, beads, and more beads, stuffed animals, and moon pies! We managed to make it through with no injuries..... Jason did get nailed in the chest with a moon pie..haha. And I almost got smacked with a Nerf football while I was trying to take a picture of the guy on the float throwing it to Emery. He thought that was really funny. Me??? not so much.

The Royal Court in the dog parade- This was a parade where everyone walked their dogs. Some had them dressed up in costumes or riding in decorated wagons.
